Ste. Croix 400   The summer of 2004 will mark the 400th anniversary of the French settlement at St. Croix Island, near Calais, Maine and St. Stephen, New Brunswick.

"This place was named by Sieur de Mons the Island of St. Croix. Here seemed to be a paradise, for the weather was warm, fish and deer were plentiful, and the location was convenient for shipping."  Quote from Champlain's journals

June 30 - July 8 (extended) Travel “Big Sky Trip". Easy, moderate, difficult, & strenuous! Camping, Hiking, and Kayaking in and around Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.
July 1-3

(Thurs - Sat) Backpacking

Hiking and wilderness camping in Nova Scotia's Cape Chignecto Provincial Park. Strenuous (must be fit). People who have been there say this is a spectacular spot! More info to follow.

July 25 Cancelled (Sun) Biking

Gagetown Area. Moderate.  

July 30 - August 3 Cancelled (Fri - Tues) Backpacking Hiking and Wilderness camping along the Fundy Footpath. Strenuous (must be fit).
