UNB Woodlot West. Moderate 14 kms (dirt roads). Meet at the New Maryland Highway Cross Country Ski Entrance. Departure Time: 6:00pm.

June 4-6 Cancelled (Fri - Sun) Camping Camping, Biking, Kayaking, and hiking in Kouchibouguac National Park. Easy.
June 9 (Wed) Biking New Maryland to Oromocto. Easy 32 kms. Departure time: 6:00pm.
June 12 (Sat)   Hiking 

Newcastle Stream, Minto. Moderate 17 kms. 

June 13 (Sun) Heritage Canadian Rivers Day
June 15 (Tue)  Instruction

Map & Compass Course. 3 evenings & 1 field day. Cost $20.00. Being offered by YSC Marketing Board Pre-registration required.

“Caving” - Go underground in the Hillsborough area's "White Caves". Strenuous (must be fit). 

June 23   (Wed)   Paddling   

Kayaking on the Saint John River, Fredericton. Easy. Location: Small Craft Aquatic Center. Departure: 6:00 pm.  Bring your own boat or rent ($10 per hour).

June 25-27 (Fri - Sun) Paddling

Festival

"Fiddles on the Tobique" (Paddling and Music Festival). Easy.  Camping, Canoeing, Kayaking, and great music. Tour one of the last remaining wooden canoe manufacturing operations. Experience the live Maritime music while paddling the upper stretches of the Tobique River. A unique event not to be missed. Some boats are available.

Festival

Ste. Croix 400   The summer of 2004 will mark the 400th anniversary of the French settlement at St. Croix Island, near Calais, Maine and St. Stephen, New Brunswick.

"This place was named by Sieur de Mons the Island of St. Croix. Here seemed to be a paradise, for the weather was warm, fish and deer were plentiful, and the location was convenient for shipping." Quote from Champlain's journals

June 30- July 8 (extended) Travel

“Big Sky Trip". Easy, moderate, difficult, & strenuous! Camping, Hiking, and Kayaking in and around Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland.
