The annual Baxter State Park weekend which is booked and confirmed.

We will be staying again this year at the South Branch Pond campsite (3 sites booked for us - North Entrance). Must be in good shape to climb as some of the hills are challenging. MEMBERS ONLY PLEASE. Maximum number of members is 12. If you'd like your name on the list or taken off the list to make room for others, please phone Gretchen (you have all summer). It is $12 U.S. per person to stay at the campground plus $8.00 U.S. per car which will be paid at the gate by everyone. We must leave promptly at 5:30 on Friday night in order to get to the gates at 8:30 EST - no exceptions. We will be searched at the border so everyone should have a picture I.D. or passport, and expect a slight delay. Good hiking boots is a must! Bring your own breakfast for 2 mornings plus 2 lunches. We will be having a meeting beforehand to discuss transportation and 2 suppers.

This is always a fun weekend, especially for you new members who have never been to Baxter. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call me.
