The group followed up on its mission from previous meetings to organize committees for the different aspects of the reunion. A preliminary list of names of groups and who would be in them was developed. The listing is as follows (and is subject to change) :

Topics Discussed:

• We again weighed the positives and negatives about the use of the Treadway Inn. Several alumni we have discussed the topic with outside of meetings have expressed strong feelings for and against the "same old place." We have decided to go ahead and use the Treadway for a few good reasons (at least to us). First, it is in Owego - which is kind of the point here. Second, the Treadway has rooms available for those coming from out of town, and a place to go after the party is over - i.e. the bar. Third, everyone knows exactly where it is, and it is close enough to all the "major attractions" of the area if you are interested in sightseeing. And Fourth, not to even mention the new lighthouse, we had a good time there 10 years ago - why can't we again?! So plan on being there!

• We talked about getting Mark Warfle and Debbie Moesch to hunt out some "bonuses" from the Treadway for using their facility for the dinner on Saturday and possibly a Cocktail Hour of some sort Friday night. The topic of reduced room rates from the Treadway will also be looked into by Mark and Debbie.

• We talked a great deal about the first mailing that will take place in early September. Jamie Deats had a rough draft ready - Yeah Jamie! We discussed what should be added - class list, missing persons list - yeah Lori! , etc. We talked about buying envelopes, stamps, address labels, typing addresses - Thanks Donna!, copy costs, even what color paper, and more.

• Video guys, DJ's, Bands, and things like putting cameras on tables (like a wedding reception) and creating web pages, videos, etc from the pictures were all topics that we touched upon. No answers yet - but something to think about.

• We finished the meeting by discussing the Sunday Family Picnic idea. Jamie had strong feelings for Greenwood Park, others had no opinion or were leaning towards the Hickories. We left it there to be discussed at a later date.

Everybody went over the list of things they must do to get the September mailing out, we then set the next meeting date and time for September 17th at 7pm in the Tioga County Office Building, and we adjourned at about 9pm.
