"Poetic
Justice"
By Ashlee
Miss Parker walked into her office and switched on the light. When she looked up she noticed a dozen roses sitting in a vase on her desk. She circled them, instantly suspicious. The first person who came to her mind was Jarod. After circling for the third time she noticed the note attached to the flowers and smiled. Maybe it was a secret admirer!
"If it's Broots, I'll kill him," she murmured to herself.
As she picked up the note, she pricked herself on a thorn. Swearing she put her forefinger in her mouth and sucked on the small wound. She opened the note with her other hand, and as she read, her hand slowly lowered from her mouth in shock, and pure horror.
Red
The color of your lips
The color of the blood on your fingertips
My dear Miss Parker
Have you learned nothing?
At the Center you must be distrusting!
Now look what you have done
You've played right into my hand
Just as we all had planned
Tsk tsk I thought you knew better
In a moment your heart will stop
And dead on the floor you will drop
You're Poet of a brother
Lyle
P.S. Thought the poetic touch was something new, like it?
Parker froze, her finger resting on her lip a she felt a clenching in her chest. Before she could feel anything more, her world went black and she fell to the floor.
K, I know morbid, but I couldn't help it. Last time she killed Lyle, so, you know, Lyle had to get revenge. I know, I know, I'm going back to answering e-mails, sorry. Just tell me what you thought!!
