AUDIO
True, better sounding audio does not make your Jeep perform better on the trails. But it makes for a better ride to the trails.....or for listening to Howard Stern on the way to work.

There was a time when I had the two 12" subs, amps, blah blah blah.....

Not in a Jeep! Not for some punk kid to steal it.  Plus, I would rather spend the money elsewhere in the Jeep.

I did purchase a new head unit though. A Sony X-plode cassette player. I had a CD player before & it skipped too much. With a cassette player, I dont worry about skipping music, getting my CDs stolen or damaged. I simply buy a CD & tape it; then, if its stolen or damaged, I tape it again.
I then blew my front left speaker. I replaced them with Memphis 4" x 6" speakers w/ swivel mount tweeter. They sound good, even without an amp. They were a screw in fit, using Metra speaker adapter kit.
I'll probably replace the stock sound bar speakers, one day. It's far from the top of my to-do list. They both work well & it's hard to hear them over the Super Swampers anyway :)
