These songs will be released in the fall 2000.
I've played most of the instruments and co-written the songs with Bill Feathers. String arrangements have been done by Cameron Jerome. Its taken me a year of down time to write and arrange the songs, to reflect on what I've done and where I was going to take the next step.
In that time there were car accidents, alchoholic bouts, relationship problems, travel, new bands (belleJars,Helen Killer, SeaSaw,TaxiJohn, Russell Leon) and a sense of disillusionment of the industry and its pathetic output of corporate money making idols. Thats not resentment towards the artists.They have talent , its more about the machine that cranks out mindless shit and the critics that write about it to keep a job. In every corner of the city there are budding musicians/writers that will never be heard of after this year....This collection of songs are about them and about you and about all the beauty of injustice and corruption in our every day lives.....Computer lovers, street urchins, corner store keepers, teenage gangs,
porno heads , pot heads, film people, newspaper geeks, and yours truly sinking into the abyss....love it for all its worth!!!!
