Chris Burgan

Chris Burgan: (Jerry and Debbie’s son) grew up surrounded by the music of WE FIVE.  He began appearing in concerts with the band in 1989 then became the group’s newest full time member shortly before the 1998 K-Earth 101 Legends of Rock ‘n Roll  concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. His lead guitar work and vocals adds a dynamic to the music that is both traditional and contemporary.

"I love playing in We Five" states Chris.  "It really is the best of both worlds for me... I get the best view in the house of my musical heros (mom, dad, Terry and Ray) playing the music that I love from my youth... plus I get to be a participant at the same time!"

In addition to We Five, he is a solo recording artist

After 15 years as the lead singer and guitarist of Los Angeles based bands Adelphos and 541 Baseline (whose independent CD The Road Less Traveled saw regional success), Chris set out on his own to find a broader audience.

Circle Magazine wrote, “Burgan turns the 90’s upside down.” Chris describes his music as “lyric oriented and guitar-driven.  The sound is basically folk, only a volume louder.”   The Tartan Shield states it is “...mainstream music... with it’s own new sound.”

As a solo artist he has released 2 independent CD's (Different Phases & Chris Burgan) and is due to finish his 3rd sometime in the summer of 2003.

He has had his music played on XM Radio (as a part of the "Circle of Songs" singer / songwriter showcase), K-FSG, Los Angeles, and the Air-1 national syndication
