Hey! Great-Grandaddy !!
My name is Chuck,
What in the world do you think
About all this stuff?
I'm kinda' small but I'm gonna' grow.
I won't be a handful forever, you know.
Sleepy land is now my place,
My mommie's lap is a heavenly place.
"Papaw", you better love me while you can,
'Cause I'm going to grow into a man.
Then hugs and kisses out the door,
All I'll want to do is shake your hand.
I did grow and "Papaw" grew old,
He went to sing with the God's heavenly band.
Time was short, Time was sweet,
Time with my "Papaw" was such a treat.
Hey! Great-Granddaddy !
I know you're up there.
I know you, you're looking down.
Hey! Look at me, Papaw, I'm a grown man.

Our hearts bled when we lost my precious granddaddy.
