Meet Our Staff |
Jessica Gibson (formerly Hauck) - Second year on staff, Color Guard Instructor and a Social Studies teacher at Osborne High School. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and Lassiter High School and has taught guards at Sprayberry High School and South Cobb High School. |
Jonathan Towson - Second year on staff, Percussion arranger and instructor. He is a graduate of Florida State University and still serves as a percussions arranger/instructor for the Marching Chiefs. He has attended the University of North Texas where he was a member of several ensembles. |
Chris Ford - Third year on staff, marching and music instructor. She is currently the Director of Bands at Smitha Middle School in Marietta, Georgia. She is a graduate of Osborne High School, Georgia State Univeristy and currently performs with the Cobb Symphony Orchestra. She is working toward a Master of Music degree from the University of Illinois. |
Bob Loehr - Second year on staff, marching and music instructor. He completed both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music degress from Jacksonville State University. He is currently the Assistant Director at Smitha Middle School in Marietta, Georgia. He is a former drum major of the Spirit of Atlanta drum and bugle corps and Jacksonville State Marching Southerners. |
Robert Hargrove - Visual designer and consultant for the past three years, will continue this year in a consultant capacity. He currently is employed by Walt Disney World as an Entertainment Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing the Blast Production in residence this Summer at EPCOT. He has marched with and taught some of the finest visual ensembles in the country with numerous group awards to his credit. Several of his former students have gone on to careers indance and have received countless All-American honors. |
Kevin Ford- Drill Designer, is in his 7th year as Director of Bands at the nationally-recognized and award-winning Tarpon Springs High School Instrumental Music Program. He is a leading figure in the area of visual design having written for some of the top bands and drum corps across the country. His ensembles have performed at the Bands of America National Concert Band Festival and at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Tarpon Springs band has placed as high as 3rd at the Bands of America Grand Nationals and most recently won Class AA at the Grand Nationals. Known for creating a visually entertaining and enjoyable productions with his groups, Mr. Ford is a welcome addition to the Osborne family. |

Jonathan Shire - percussion instructor and assistant to the director, this is his first year as a member of the band staff. He is currently in his first year as Orchestra Director at Osborne High School. He is a graduate of Osborne High School and Kennesaw State University and is an extremely versitile musician. He was a member of the Spirit of Atlanta drum and bugle corps and is currently a oboist with the Cobb Symphony Orchestra. He is also working with South Cobb High School, a position he has held for the past three years. |
