Everyone, this is a short newsletter. Have not had time to compile anything this week. Lots going on in the Marine Corps right now leaving me minimal time.
Services for Reny Morris '65 will be Monday, 10AM at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward. Viewing Sunday night from 5:30 to 8:30. No word yet on services for George Gan, OHS grad, brother of David Gan '65 and Regina Gan '66.
Also our sympathies to Connie Vrettos Khanachet '65, who lost her mother last week. Her father passed away three months ago, and now her mother. Our hearts are with you, Connie, and with everyone who has lost someone.
For those who are following my gastric bypass surgery (stomach stapling), Although I am in heart failure, (figure this.....) the cardiologist says my heart is well and strong, and recommends me for the surgery. The problem will go away as the weight comes off. Now all I have left is one more echo cardiogram, a psych evaluation, and a night in a sleep clinic. Then they will schedule the surgery. I'm hoping for the first of the year, not that far off. I had to laugh at the cardiologist. He said I have the personality of a thin woman......I move around a lot. Well, that's a new one on me! LOL. I've loved hearing from you and your friends who've had the surgery. It's really good to talk with others about it. Thanks for helping me along with this.
I've gots lots of news for the next letter. If you were unable to read the Willy letter, please write and tell me, and I'll create a new list for text only, so you can still read the messages. Bob Palmer, and Maggie, and everyone at Hotmail, I've got you on a list already.
Sorry to be so erractic lately, but I have been busy at work and home and doctor appts and just havne't had the time to do anything but collect the news. I'll have it all out in next weeks letter.
