Perfering the darkness their skin is transparent but very strong. They move very fast and have many human like features. Intigrated into their left arm is a micro computer customized to each specific Kemla depending on their function at their post.

How met:

USS Millenium-B met them while partoling the area arround the nearly finished Dark Star station. A Kemla ship decoded a subspace message from their enemies, the Rinol, telling them of a planned attack on the new station. The Kemla warned the Millenium-B minutes before the attack took place. This was enough time to bring the shields and as of yet untested defences of the Dark Star station online. The 6 Rinol ships were no match for the Millenium-B and the stations defences and soon the remaining ships were forced to surrender.
