Omeyage Corner

OIC have a souvenir corner, whereby souvenir from participants and visitors from all over the world were displays. Every country is given one lot (different in size based on the number or size of the souvenir). We can learn many things related to each country based on the souvenir displays.

From my observation, the souvenir from my own country was very little, even much smaller than Singapore. I wonder why. Participants from Malaysia are one of the biggest in number. Maybe many Malaysian like to give the souvenir direct to the person rather than for display...

Even omeyage from me in 1989 still in the display when I came in 1999. I just changed before the International Cooperation Day (to make a different look?), but... it was replaced by omeyage from nearby country using my country name..

OIC campus model also on display at the omeyage corner.
