Practice went happily enough with Karin so off I went with crew (wife Toni, and friend Andrew) with enough confidence to not collapse on my knees and confess to being a total fraud. Trusted in by her music director and my friend (hence job) Soh, soI couldn't help but feel worried about the whole thing.

The brief was to take photo's with high contrast late 60's grainy Factory feel that would be used for flyers, catalogues and magazines. Natural light and non seasonal was also asked for but with the worst snow in Tokyo for several years, this was taken indoors-using a spotlight and flash. Mayumi is in the front, person just discernable in the back was one of the many people around - label people, designer, stylist, make-up - to watch me fumble around with my light meter.
