Note: When, at about the age of 17, Lucretia married John Stone, she took on a big job. She was only 6 years older than her oldest stepchild. For years, I had Lucretia's parents as William and Harriet Thomas Pratt. That is wrong. Her parents were William and Mary Ann Eastman Pratt of Erie County, Pennslyvania. William was born in Vermont. His father was born in Maine. Mary Ann Eastman's father was David Eastman who was born in Connecticut. I am still trying to work on this family. I owe the census for the discovery of the mistake.
