Taimat is the youngest professor Hogwarts has ever employed. Actually, she is still a student herself. She has shoulder-length brown hair that falls in curls and shines with a golden tint in the sunlight. Her eyes are light brown mixed with a little green. Though fairly muscular, she is only 63 inches tall, making her shorter than most of the other sixth years. Rumor has it that dark magic has given her dragon blood and the ability to fly and spout fire, but these stories have yet to be proven. Because of these rumors, some of the respect she is given stems from fear, though some also comes from the Slytherins’ appreciation of her supposed power. In addition, she is quite often the victim of hexes from the less-than-nice students at Hogwarts, giving her reason to become a near expert in defense. Though she is a nice person, she has trouble finding people who will talk to her, and so she finds solace in her teaching and in her small group of Gryffindor friends. She volunteered to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts when the class stopped receiving applicants because it was a “cursed” job, and she was accepted.
