STORYLINES GONE SOUR

July 2, 2000

First of all, I’d just like to say how glad I am that Todd’s back. Second, I’d just like to know if anyone’s is as sick of the Blair/Max/Skye triangle as I am.

Blair and Skye fighting over Max is just plain stupid. I’ve never seen more immature behavior on a soap opera. Let’s move on from this, please!!

As for the storyline of the real Buchanan son, I thought that was pretty good plot. Most of OLTL’s storylines usually are. The problem, they drag it out and let play out in circles until all viewers want to do is fast forward through the entire show.

About the only storyline that hasn’t got me sick to my stomach is the potential triangle of Roseanne/Antonio/Sophia and perhaps Will, Jessica, and Cristian being on the run. But I have a feeling that’s about to run dry soon.

I really hope that OLTL drops the Blair/Skye/Max thing. The immature brat trio just needs to move on and find better things to do than play tricks on each other. Why don’t they pair up Skye and Max, then send them to Pine Valley, then pair up Blair with Todd? I’ve always been a Blair and Todd fan. Even after Blair became pregnant with Patrick’s child, I still hoped they’d find their way back to each other. Maybe it’s time for a second chance. Tea’s left Todd, and Max’s shacked up with Skye.
