From England go to Machynlleth. Take the road to Aberdovey
Entering Aberdovey the road passes under a railway bridge. Half a mile on, turn right into the square and then turn right up Church Street.
After 250 yards take a sharp left turn onto Balkan Hill and the gate to the house is 10 yards up Balkan Hill on the left hand side. Go through the second set of gates and the Old Vicarage is the sea facing part of the property.

Aberdovey has a beautiful 3 mile long sandy beach and an internationally renowned golf course(tel:01654767602).There is dinghy sailing(tel:-01654767612) and other water sports in the estuary which is overlooked by the House.
The village has a number of useful shops including a butcher,fishmonger,delicatessen and convenience store along with a range of gift shops and art galleries.(There are Pioneer and Spar supermarkets in the adjacent towns of Tywyn and Machynlleth)
Aberdovey has many restaurants including the Pehellig Arms(tel:01654767215-you need to book in advance); the Bistro(tel:01654767448, Need to book in advance-our favourite); the Coffee Shop and Wellies Wine Bar.
