One of the most notable traditions is without doubt, the Village Feast celebrated in order of the Patron Saint of every locality. Every City and Town in Malta celebrates yearly the Feast of Their Patron Saint. Here one can notice the ornments arrange to one of our churches.
The Mosta Church better known as the Rotunda, where its Dome is the third largest in the world. The church stands 185 feet from the ground and the dome's circumference is that of 180 feet. Ceremonies are carried out throughout the year and the main feast is that of "Santa Marija" were the entire village is celebrating the village Festa. During the world war two an enemy's bomb fell on the dome, went through the roof, fell on the floor and did not explode. During this incident 500 people were in the church and miracle no one was injured.
