The tomb of Charles and Mary Booth, Thringstone Churchyard (photograph by Richard Wheatley, 1990)

(My thanks to Richard for this photo, which he achieved by teetering perilously on top of a wheelie-bin !)

Tomb of Charles Booth, 1990

The grave seen to the left of Booth's tomb is that of Cheverton Shrewsbury , MA (1872 - 1958), Vicar of Thringstone for more than forty-six years. Mr Shrewsbury died on March 5th 1958, and is buried with his sister, Henrietta Cheverton Shrewsbury.

The grave seen in the foreground, immediately to the right of the Booth monument, is that of their granddaughter, Julia Mary Booth, who died in infancy in 1921.
