Mission Statement

Our Aim...

Launched as a 'Millennium Project' in May 1999, Thringstone On Line was the first village site in the Coalville District.

Since then, we are delighted that other local village sites have appeared and periodically search the net in order to link them to Thringstone On Line.

If you know of a site which you feel should be linked to this page, please e-mail the webmaster.

Our future aim is to continue to provide articles about the history of Thringstone but also to make the site an up to date and valuable resource for local people. We also hope that the information contained in these pages will continue to be of interest to visitors from all over the world.
