THRINGSTONE HISTORICAL GROUP - NOTICE FROM LYNDA BAUGH (22/06/2002):The newly formed local history group has begun its first project - a survey
of St Andrew's Church graveyard. If anyone is interested in recording the
monuments we would be very grateful for your help. The group is part of the
Gracedieu Archeology Club and currently meets twice a month and sometimes in
between! We are currently doing a leaflet drop around the village to
encourage new members to join. If you can offer any help either your time,
memories or photographs which we could scan we would be very grateful. We
really want to preserve our history for the future so if you would like to
know more, please contact Llynda Baugh on 222900 or John Dickinson.
