(St. Ignatius of Loyola, whose feast we celebrate on July 31 is the author of the Spiritual Exercises)
Beginning from August 15th, Assumption of Mary, we will launch a new season of the "Step by Step" online Spiritual Exercises for all interested persons, first of all for married couples (companions of life).
We have prepared a Calendar that makes it possible to go in harmony with the liturgical year through the four Phases of the Exercises.
The calendar for 2008-2009 is available from our home page here: http://www.geocities.com/ourladyofthegraces/Calendar09.htm
and we will send reminders for each step to the members of our dialog and prayer group.
Between Aug 15 and Sep 7 ("Step 1") whoever wants to participate can get familiar with the retreat, organize it's course, like choose the times for the prayer sessions maybe invite some friends to join in the common prayer experience!
Of course, the retreat can be done beginning from any date and going with a rhythm that is most appropriate to the individual, couple or group. Our calendar constitutes however a schedule that might be easy to follow.
Join us in this new retreat season! If you sign up to our Yahoo! Group you will get reminder e-mails for each "Step" at the scheduled date of its beginning - plus it could be a forum to share your experiences or place questions, prayer requests, or simply to follow an ongoing dialog and read the postings on other themes, too.
This invitation is not just for you, but if you know other people who might be interested in doing the online retreat or you think might benefit from it, please let them know about our web site and group.
We wish you all the graces necessary for an authentic experience with the Lord under the motherly care of Mary.
For the retreat one can use also with profit our book "Finding Our Way Together" which is available in searchable format on Google Book Search here - there you can buy it from online bookstores like Amazon, Barnes And Noble etc
Or read it as a free e-book at LuLu Press
