More on the end of life...
Hi,
to further discuss the issue of dying America
published an other article on artificial nutrition and
hydration for PVS patients: "At the End of Life
Are feeding tubes now obligatory?"
(By Thomas A. Shannon | FEBRUARY 18, 2008)

It is not too clear of a writing - at least not for
me. Th author seems to be happy to have found a 1980
directive from the Vatican and seemingly tries to put
it in contradiction with last year's statement titled
"Responses to Certain Questions of the United States
Conference of Catholic Bishops Concerning Artificial
Nutrition and Hydration", on the base that the former
distinguishes between a traditional "ordinary" and
"extraordinary" means, while the latter not.
If you have a chance the read the article, what is
your impression on it?
