Crimson Rubeus. He is often called the Underrated Villain, a title I heartily agree with. Probably just because he's the underdog, Rubeus is one of my favorite Black Moon members. He never showed any weakness (from a villain's point of view) like the rest of the clan, but simply "died in the line of duty". He was has hard as a rock and about as kind as one. He broke all of the Akayashi sisters' hearts, especially Cooan's. But...well...so what, he's so cool! ^ ^
Now Rubeus, in the anime, is never seen with the rest of the clan. Only Esmeraude. We see him landing his spaceship in Earth's atmosphere and carrying out his mission - which he fails horribly at. He and the Akayashi sisters were supposed to fill certain parts of Tokyo with dark energy - but they failed to capture even one point. He is eventually outwitted by the senshi and is blown up in his own ship.
In manga, Rubeus is about the same except he is killed by Wiseman much later - and interestingly enough, he was running away when Wiseman did it. Wiseman pretty much let it be known "I'm bad" and Rubeus says "I'm not going to be killed her like a dog!" and Wiseman zaps him and he dies. But, once again, even in manga Rubeus' rock solid loyalty shows though. Many a time is he found declaring his loyalty for Prince Dimando and can even be found kissing the Prince's cape. My kind of guy!
Rubeus has rather intesting attire. He wears a vest with a necklace and slacks. But the most annoying thing about him is he has this jacket he just carries around but hardly ever wears. In the kind words of Pipsi, he's "a freaking arrogant dork" - which about sums it up ^ ^. I love his coldness and how he won't let anyone's feelings get in his way - he just uses them. He is an awful jerk though. But, never the less, Rubeus is a very popular villain - and I have to agree.
