Green and Gold Elizabethan

Another Elizabethan inspired outfit.  Somewhat generic in Nature, taking its design elements from many different sources rather than a singular portrait.  No forepart with this design, I decided on a solid skirt instead.  The bodice is a luscious silk brocaded with gold and silver.  The sleeves are brocade lined in bunny fur and tie into the shoulder of the bodice.  The sleeves have shoulder rolls attached to them rather than to the bodice, as would have been the norm.  This is so that the sleeves can mix and match with a few different Elizabethan bodices.  A linen partlet embellished with freshwater pearls and the small neck frill is edged with some lovely point lace. The cap is made in the same brocade, as the sleeves so there could be continuity when they are worn together.  Again the same foundation garments art being worn to give the courtly silhouette.

A girdle, cap and rings complete this outfit.
