A40 was born to Tsitika (A30) in 1981. He/she was the second calf that we were sure was born to Tsitika.
When A40 was born, the family was made up of grandma Nicola, mom Tsitika, and brothers Strider, Blackney and Pointer.
Sadly, A40's life was cut short. After surviving the critical first year, the little calf died in 1983 at the age of two, one year before his/her sister was born.
