Nalau was born in 2004 to Kiltik. He/she is Kiltik's second calf; her first calf, A76, was born in 2002 and died the same year.
When Nalau was born, the family consisted of mom Kiltik, grandma Skagit, and aunts Racey, Sunny and Roller. The year Nalau was born, he/she gained a cousin when Racey gave birth as well.
So far Nalau is doing well. He/she was named by the BC Killer Whale Adoption Program in early 2006.
