Eclipse was born to Simoom in 1996. She was recently declared female.
An interesting note is that Simoom was hit by a boat in 1995 and sustained some minor injuries. She was probably pregnant with Eclipse at the time. Thankfully, Eclipse was born healthy and has remained that way.
Eclipse is a little odd (regarding fin shape), because she looks more like one of Tsitika (A30)'s kids than Simoom's. Her fin is much more curved than the rest of her family's.
Eclipse is the youngest of Simoom's children that appear in the ID book.
Eclipse is one of the lesser known A12s. While we hear lots of news regarding Echo, Simoom, Scimitar and the others, Eclipse has rather remained unnoticed. However, since she should soon have her first kid, that won't last!
