Welcome to
OTTER'S
These are my plushies! That's right, I made them all. Hand stitched every one with love. here they are for everyone to see and enjoy!
This is Limnis, the Venusian Ufek. I'm not entirely sure whether he's a plushie or a sofa. I do know, though, that he cost so much to stuff I didn't buy groceries that week. |
Here we have Rick and Leesha Ortiz, the lovebirds. Each one has half of a heart-shaped charm sewn inside. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic. |
Chang and Ching, the siameese (twin) cats. They're even more popular than Zaphod Beeblebear! |
M'ro, the earthworm/squirrel. He's got little feelers on his tummy, just like a real worm, made out of fishing line.
Here we have Charlie the Zebra. He's the only one I ever sewed on the machine. Since he's made out of broadcloth, I have spent endless hours repairing him. It's worth it though! |
Sue the kangaroo and Roper the Rat. Roper's super-long tail is felly posable, having a pipe-cleaner spine. |
Wolfenstein, the leftover lupine. He's got real bolts in his neck (padded, of course,) some plumbing tubes and a compartment for putting small things like a remote control. |
Okay... so I didn't make Ants, but i just had to put her picture here because she's so CUTE!
This is Ivan, the radioactive raccoon from Semipatrovinsk. His mutated side is soaked in a wash of glow-in-the-dark fabric paint. He makes a GREAT nightlight! |
Here's Laly, the fire lizard given to me by my sister on my 17th birthday. |
Diana, the Eson, one of the cuddliest critters on Mars. She's made primarily out of white flannel, and she's soft as a baby blanket. |
It's me! Yep, there I am after becoming a plushie myself. Photo by Sherry Edwards, for whom I made this one. |
And this is Nora Nospots, Charlie's girlfriend. |
Sira, also known as Weasel-Girl. Yes, she's the same Weasel-Girl who appears in "Beastknights" on story island. at the Pond. |
LET ME IN! |
And this is rose Maria Ortiz, Rick's little sister.
And last but not least, Duster, the skunk who's so popular, she even has her own web page. |
Ivan and Rose Maria having tea and cookies.
Alex just loves gummies, especially the worms. |
Sira, helping me with this web page.
Alex and Diana get artistic. |
Rick and Lessha, the cuddlebugs.
Roper the plushie meets Rhett the fleshie. |
| I caught Duster getting a late night snack... either that or a bad landing. |
| A little privacy, please? |

Amanda the Otter, playing with a couple of tub toys I carved from sponges. I half-filled Amanda with plastic beads so that she would dry fast if I ever took her into the tub. Amanda, if you haven't guessed, is my favorite!
| | Amanda and Sira indulge in a few hours of Pokemon. |
Three Beastknights Plushies. Ottergirl, Wolverteen, and Weasel-girl. Wolverteen is still under construction.
I've had a few people ask me where I keep all of these plushies. Well, here's a partial answer. This is my "den", where half the plushies stay. It's a very nice place, complete with live plants, glow-in-the-dark stars on the cieling, and a big brown blanket that can be pulled down to create that "burrow" effect.
FURSUIT PICTURES!!!
| For Alco's Moonlight Madness sale, Bruce Hall (the one without the vest) asked me to appear as Oren the Otter and pass out lollipops to kids. I had so much fun! |
| | Once again at the Moonlight Madness sale, flanked by assistant managers "Old" Eller and "Happy" Gilmore. |
