Winterberry Gardens: May 17 (Saturday)
The main display garden was located near Cross Junction in the northernmost part of Virginia, just south of the state line. That's right, they didn't move it overnight. As I recall, it was a little drier, but just as cold.
Don's son Bryan helped build the convention beds and spent many hours helping with the Lord Fairfax and the Blandy guest iris plantings. Bryan did a lot of work at the convention, especially for the youth members (for which I, for one, was extremely grateful).
