In Queen's MBA Bunker
This photo was taken in the bunker. We call it "bunker"
because it's a basement. Poor location. I bet it is the most expensive bunker
in the world, if you think about how much you paid for your place here.
Here are a couple of facts that you should know about the Queen's MBA program:
One of the main characteristics of Queen's MBA program is that it is team based. On the very first day you register, you'll be assigned to a team consisting of 6 students. You'll spend the following 12 months with the other five fellows. Your life would be miserable if you fail to get along well with your teammates, because more than half of the assignments are team based. There is a lead and a second in each assignment. If you're the lead and you screw up the job, you are in hot water.
Another thing you should be aware of is that you'll only have 12 months to complete the damn thing. Sometimes even if you work 15 hours a day, you're still behind the schedule. Being well organized is the first important thing for your survival here.
My experience also tells me that keeping a low profile would benefit your orientation. Don't expect you're smarter than others cause everybody sitting around you is smart. GMAT is already history; the best way to distinguish yourself is speaking up.
Lastly, welcome to Queen's MBA program!!
