Being present as a diving crew member onboard the Casualty rescue vessel "MSV Regalia" and witnessing the grief of some of the Sumariners wives and family that visited us during the rescue operation I would like to express my deepest commiseration to all the 118 crew members families and also praise the Russian divers and support team for their valiant efforts throughout the rescue operation which at times was so traumatic these brave men broke down while diving within the KURSK.

As a former submariner, my heart goes out to the families and friends of the Kursk crewmen. Please be assured that among the brotherhood of submariners, and all people of good will, there is no joy in the loss of a submarine and its men, even those of a ormer enemy. May the time come when such adversarial status as may still exist between us is history, and the odds of another such accident become remote.

Dear mothers, fathers, wives, sisters, brothers, relatives, friends of the KURSK submariners who perished on board of KURSK!!! Our all family are with you in mourning for your immearsureable loss. My eyes are full of tears, and tears stream down my face, when I think about the men who died horrendous, indescribable deaths, which seem to be completely unreasonable. I try to think hat God must have a higher purpose for this horrible LOSS. What is HIS purpose???!! -Awakening of Russian Government, and other world governments to help create total and complete Peace in the world? -Bringing people of Russia and the whole world together in mourning for the LOSS of the young lives, and in admiration for the courage, and stoicism of the families who lost their sons, fathers, brothers, husbands who are and will always be irreplaceable? Whatever purpose GOD had it must be the Highest One!!! Thank YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts for your SACRIFICE!!! Thank YOU ALL for awakening the world!!! Thank YOU for your gtandiose mission!!! But still from our human perspective the loss is unthinkable!!! We all grieve!!! We all share your unbearable pain of loss!!!

I feel and hurt for your loss, In a way I hate this mediem for being so impersonal, but it does give us the chance to say how we feel around the world. I sit here with tears in my eyes knowing nothing can ever be done to help the hurt in so many families. Nothing. But it might help to know that we are people, The labels, Us, Them,.. We all have families, In this world there cant be "us and them" anymore. My heart is broken everytime something like this happens here or there. Or anywhere in this world. I dont know what else to say, but I am truly sorry. The USS cole crew members didnt deserve what happened to them either. Why is this world so crazy?

To all the the Wives, Mothers & Fathers, Brothers & Sisters, Children and loved ones of the brave men of the Kursk. As a past US Navy man form a ship that supplied and repaired submarines, I send to you my deepest condolances. These men, even though not in time of war, gave their life, so you may come to know freedom and democracy. Cherish this irreplacable gift. Teach your children of their brave fathers. hold their memory always close to your heart. Mothers & Fathers weep no more for now they are in a special place where they will know no more war and uncertainty. They will be waiting for you both for the final homecoming. Brothers & sisters stand tall and straight knowing they loved you and placed your interests above their own, to even serve their country in the submarines. Help their wives and children keep their memory alive. Children, know your fathers have made you proud and free by sacraficing their lives in this tradgey. Only God knows the final answers. make your fathers proud and never forget them. wives, always keep your childrens fathers in their memory. If you remarry make sure that the new man knows of this the wish for your children. A good man will indeed also remind the children of their brave fathers. To "Mother Russia" Let this be the last useless waste of our humnan lives. Put aside all differences with the West and know their are a lot of good people here that have such higfh hopes for your sucess as a free and democratic nation. be a true leadeing ountry of the east and show the way for others to learn. Let us all be one good, free and safe world. Do not let these men pass in vain. My respects to all those loved ones and also to Mother Russia for her loss as well. Robert' Kentucky/USA

To the familes and friends of those who died tragically on the kursk. when i first joined the RAF my sqn commander told me it was my honour to live in the air but my destiny to die by fire.Submariners live&die in the murky depths of the sea,it takes a special breed of man to do that, and I and the rest of her majestys forces salute them for it. may they rest in peace. To the Families of the Officers and Men of KURSK: I am a retired US Navy Senior Chief Sonar Technician (Surface). For my better than 20 years of Naval service, I, and others in my rating, went "nose-to-nose" with Soviet/Russian submarines during the "Cold War". Though they were "the enemy", we nonethele s respected and admired the courage and expertise of the Soviet/Russian submariner. At the end of the day, whether we wore the gold fouled anchor or the red star, we were shipmates; sailors all. Thus, this tragedy has struck home and I, along with my col eagues both retired and active duty, grieve and mourn for your loss. May their souls rest in peace. Fair winds... I pray for them and their families.

Our thoughts & prayers are with all of the family and friends of the crew of the Kursk. Being a Navy family ourselves, we know what it is like to wave goodbye to our loved ones as they sail away, always expecting to wave hello again as they pull back int port. But we never really know for sure, do we. We can only hope & have faith. And if for some reason they do not come back to us, we can only pray that they are in Heaven and we will see each other again someday. I know that is hard to believe right n w, but eventually it will be better. Sincerely, Teresa, Rachel & Megan Keene

My heart goes out to the fallen comrades of the Kursk, their families and loved ones. I love the sea myself. For me it is recreational and educational. But I also respect those that have to be on it for a already dangerous job, and that is protecting the r homeland. To make the ultimate sacrifice in today's day and age is senseless. There is no need for this to occurr when things COULD have been different. That is the highest price that anyone could have made. May you rest in peace, and you families adj st to their great loss, may your government, learn a lesson from this incident to see that it does not happen again. All those that visit this site after me just remember that "Life is a potpourri of learning experiences, it is up to you to make them goo or bad lessons." By: Q.N.G.
