About myself. I am a nineteen-year-old English major from the Midwest. In my spare time I create silly web pages, graphics that I never use, and play on my N64. I enjoy reading, writing, and mooning about. I am a Christian--Pentacostal, no less, though I don't think you could spot that paticular trait just by talking to me. (Believe me, there's some people who practically seep Pentacostalism out of their pores.) If you have any questions or comments, go to the contact page and leave me a message there. About Dan. Dan is a nineteen-year-old Computer Science major, also from the Midwest. He goes to a different college than I do, but it's only fifteen minutes away. He is not too tall, clever, sarcastic, responsible and very, very intelligent. I think he's completely wacko not wanting to go out with me anymore, because we're perfect together. Did I mention he's stubborn?
About Shannon. Shannon is one of my oldest and dearest friends. She goes to a college about eight hours from me, but we keep in touch. Her boyfriend broke up with her just about the same time that Dan broke up with me, so we could commiserate together. She's had several major relationships, whereas I've only had this one, so I like to get her point of view. She's fun to hang around but she tends to worry a lot. About the Saras. The Saras are two fun-loving, freaky girls who are good friends with each other and me. They both have red hair and personalities to match. Sara #1 is the more down-to-earth one, while Sara #2 likes boys and partying...a lot. (Not to say that Sara #1 doesn't.) They're great to go to when I'm having troubles, but they also go to far-off colleges and I don't keep in touch with them as much.
About my aunt Casey. My aunt Casey is very sweet and very thin. It's always nice to have her around during family reunions; with so many females in the family, things sometimes get a little tense. She was, incidentally, best friends with Dan's mom in high school. About my sister. My sister Candice (code name, of course) is a very sweet, very boy crazy fourteen-year-old. She's a horrible speller but a perpeptual optimist. I like her a lot.
About my mom. My mom is a very nice, warm, loving person. She really tries her hardest to stay away from the cliqué-spouting, out-of-tune mother role, and I appreciate her for that. She's also been through some tough relationships herself. Whatever's happening to me, she can top it--but she doesn't ever lord it over me.
