As you already know, Ted Danson is a sexy stud muffin of an actor, and his lameness inspired four erect teenagers from the suburbs of Ottawa to start an adrenaline pumped emo\skate punk band with lots of piss and vinegar. They were founded in the fall of 1999, upon the merging of two REALLY, GOD AWEFULLY, HORRIBLE punk bands known as Guiche and Suburban Punk. See ya Ryan and Dan. They met at a local punk show in Manotick, (even though they went to the same school) and talked about forming a band. Jon and Grant left Guiche, and joined Tom and Brent. Guiche was a very poorly rooted cover band, with a metal bass player (metal sucks). Brent and Tom came from some hole. Just kidding, they came from Suburban Punk, in which Tom sang and played the drums. Their bass player was into metal too. He drinks too much. PUBIC HAIR! TDP's first show was at their school Coffee House in November of 1999, and they "played" two cover songs. The Ted Danson Project has been playing local shows ever since and will 'till the day their parents find out the whole band thing is just an excuse to lock themselves in the basement for a couple of hours each weekend...
