Biscuit Base: Combine biscuit mix and onion powder in a medium bowl. Gradually add water, mixing with a fork, until a soft dough forms. Turn Out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 6 to 8 times until smooth. Roll out into a 15 X 18 inch rectangle. 2. Filling: Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well. Spread evenly over biscuit base. Roll up tightly, jelly roll style, starting from the long side. Cut into 3/8" (9mm) thick slices. Arrange, 1 inch apart on a lightly greased (parchment papered) baking sheet. 3. Brush with egg and sprinkle with seeds (if using). Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes until biscuit is lightly golden.
