                           Butter Tart Squares

  1 1/3           cups  all-purpose flour
  2        tablespoons  granulated sugar
     1/2           cup  margarine -- or butter, I guess
  2                     eggs
  1 1/4           cups  packed brown sugar
     1/4           cup  margarine -- melted (or butter, I guess)

  1                cup  raisins
  1         tablespoon  vinegar
  1           teaspoon  vanilla
  1           teaspoon  all-purpose flour

1. Preheat oven to 350 deg.

2. Mix first 3 ingredients in a food processor or mixing bowl until crumbly.

3. Press into a greased 9" square pan.

4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden color.

5. Beat eggs and brown sugar together with a whisk until well blended.

6. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.

7. Spread over base and bake 25 to 30 minutes longer, or until just set and golden.

8. ******COOL COMPLETELY  ***BEFORE*** SERVING!!! THEY TASTE ***TERRIBLE** IF NOT COMPLETELY COOLED!!!!*****
