                        Dry Ingredients:
  1 1/4           cups  whole wheat flour
     1/4           cup  oats -- most likely rolled or slow cook
  2          teaspoons  baking powder
     1/2      teaspoon  baking soda
     1/4      teaspoon  salt
                        Wet Ingredients:
     1/4           cup  applesauce
  1                cup  milk -- most likely skim
  2          teaspoons  vanilla
  1         tablespoon  cinnamon
  2        tablespoons  sugar
                        Topping:
  1                cup  oats -- see above
  3        tablespoons  brown sugar
  3        tablespoons  apple juice
  1           teaspoon  cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8x8 pan with pan spray, or use non stick.

2. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir in rest of ingredients *EXCEPT* those for topping!!

3. Pour into the pan.  Mix together ingredients for topping. Sprinkle onto batter and pat down.

4. Bake for 20- 25 minutes.
