Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ ---------------------------------
4 large ears of corn -- raw
                        flour -- as needed
1/2 teaspoon salt -- to taste
3 tablespoons bacon grease -- or butter

1. Slit the kernels of one ear of corn at a time lengthways down the middle and scrape the liquid into a bowl.

2. When done, add enough flour so that the batter pour off the spoon like pancake batter. Add the salt.

3. Melt the bacon grease or butter (as bad as it is, the bacon grease tastes batter) in a pan or on a griddle.

4. Make one small pancake first for "quality control"-making sure the batter is okay.

5. If pancake is okay, or batter has bee adjusted to perfection, make more pancakes. They go very well with bacon and tomatoes.
