* Exported from MasterCook * Tim Field's Curried Meat Recipe By :Jeannette Field Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Regular Savory Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ --------------------------------- 10 oz. beef -- veal, or other meat cut into 1/2 " squares 1 1/2 tsp. curry powder -- or paste 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 can tomato paste -- (small tin) water to dilute 1 medium onion -- sliced like an apple 2 stalks celery -- cut into thin strips 1/2 C. raisins 1 apple -- or peach, or pear,sliced like an apple 1) Spray skillet with pan spray. Brown meat . 2) Sprinkle curry powder, salt, and pepper over the meat. 3) Add tomato paste and water (do not dilute paste very thinly!) and stir. 4) Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. 5) Stir frequently and serve over hot rice.
