Associated/United Valve Keeper

Associated - United these valve keepers fit valves with 3/8" diameter stems. The large OD is 1" and the small diameter slips inside a 3/4" ID spring. Made like the original shown with a 1/4" NC set screw and a drill through hole for pinning the valve.

Associated - United igniter stationary electrode. Made from O1 tool steel - 5/8" OD X 1/4" NC thread. Includes jam nut. Once machined the electrode is heated and oil quenched to harden it even further. Giving it great qualities for a long service life.

Associated/United 6hp Intake Valve Keeper

Associated 6 mule intake valve keeper. This keeper is attached to the 1/2" x 1" push rod with a bolt and nut. It is then adjusted until it puts enough pressure on the intake valve to assure that it is closed as engine cycles while coasting between power strokes.

Associated/United 6hp Pushrod Assembly 

Associated 6 mule trip rod assembly complete with igniter trip assembly, detent catch ( ground & made from tool steel), spring attachment screw and cam roller assembly. Pushrod measures 37.5" long 1" high x .5" thick.

We will make these assemblies for any horsepower Associated or United engine per your sample or sketch. The only savings would be in material cost, machine time and labor costs figure out about the same.

Associated/United Igniter Trip Rod Guide Stud

Guide Stud is 2 1/2" long  x  5/8" hex and has a 7/16" groove cut into it for the trip rod to slide back and forth in. The stud has a 3/8" NC thread. --- We will make similar guide studs for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.

Associated/United Rocker Arm Stud

Rocker Arm Stud 6hp is 2 3/4" long,  with a 7/8" head, a 5/8" shoulder and 7/16" NC thread. This Stud holds the exhaust rocker arm in place. It's has a drilled and countersunk hole for oil.  --- We will make similar studs for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.

Cam roller assembly fits 6hp engines. --- We will make similar cam rollers for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.

Associated/United Tool Steel Detent Catch Block

Catch block is made from tool steel and ground on all surfaces measuring 1" x 1" x 1/8". Countersunk bolt & jam nut included. --- We will make similar catch blocks for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.

Associated/United Detent Speed Control Knob 

The thread size is 3/8" NC,  knob diameter is 1", overall length 1 3/8". The knob diameter has been fluted to allow the knob to lock into the spring wire on the detent as shown in the lower photograph above. This prevents engine speed creep. -- We will make similar speed control knobs for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.

Associated/United Detent Arm Bearing

If your bearing looks like the one on the left, you most likely are having problems with speed control. When the bearing becomes worn it limits detent arm movement.  New brass bearing measures 1/2" x 1/2" with a 1/4" bore and fits on the end of detent arm as shown the in photo above.  -- We will make similar speed control bearings for your other Associated or United engines per your sample or sketch.
