Seager Olds Type "A" Cylinder Oiler Breather 

I'm making two different size reproduction Olds Breathers. One breather is 2" in diameter the other (same as original Olds breather) is 1 1/2" in diameter. These will work on any gas engine however. By allowing the cylinder blow by to exit through the breather, rod oilers can be used to oil the cylinder - eliminating the need for an oiler like a Lunkenheimer Paragon or other type compression cylinder oiler.

Gas Engine & Tractor Bearing Babbitt

General purpose lead based Babbitt,  ASTM-7 (SAE-14) for gas engine bearings. This Babbitt is pure in form being purchased direct for the smelter that cast all pigs from virgin materials. This is not reclaimed Babbitt that has been re-melted into bars.  Pigs vary slightly in weight due to the casting process. Most bars weigh a pound or slightly over. I normally find that 80 bars weigh one hundred pounds making most bars from 1lb. 2oz. to  1 lb. 8 oz...

General purpose tin based Babbitt, ASTM-2 for gas engine bearings. This Babbitt is pure in form direct for smelter as well. This is a harder Babbitt and will hold up on higher speed engines and heavy applications. Pigs weigh about 2 to 3 pounds. This is the smallest unit we sell. ( ASTM-2 Pigs not pictured )

Babbitrite

General Purpose damming compound used to pack around where bearings are to be poured. This is a pliable putty packed in a 5 pound carton. Product is reusable.

Tinning Compound 

(Dry Form) 

Tinning compound (dry form of Tintite). Product is used by brushing dry compound onto hot cast iron or other surfaces after heating, to tin prepared surface. The powder can also be mixed into a paste and applied. A must when pouring Babbitt bearings.

Lunkenheimer Mixer Needle Valve

Needle Valves fit all Lunkenheimer Mixers. Machined -- all brass needle valves like the original. Back side of knob is hollowed out like originals as well. Needle valve measures 2" long, threaded 1/4 x 18, knob 1 1/8" diameter.

Custom Connecting Rod Bolts

Shown here is a connecting rod bolt 3" long x 7/16 dia. with 7/16 x 20 thread, second image 7/16" x 3 3/8". The bolt also has the head milled back to the shank for clearance and allows the nut to tighten without holding it with a wrench. The drill hole at the end of the bolt is for a cotter pin to keep the nut from coming loose. We will machine custom bolts to your sample or spec's.

Brass Igniter or Ground Clip

Here's a great reproduction wire clip fashioned after factory original. All brass construction featuring drilled anchor hole and brass screw for fastening ignition wire. Hole in flat brass arm is used to fasten clip to igniter or ground.

Flywheel Governor Weight Adjuster Studs

These are our standard flywheel governor weight adjusting studs. Studs measure 2"long and are threaded 1/4" x 20 NC. Each stud is drill with a hole to hook flywheel weight spring into.

Igniter Stationary Electrode

Our standard electrode is made with 1/4" diameter round material and threaded for a 1/4" x 20 thumb nut. The electrode is 4" in overall length (threaded rod can be lengthened or shortened to meet your required length). The stationary point is installed. A brass 1/4 x 20 thumb nut is supplied with each electrode. The electrode head (where point is fastened) is 3/4" long and 3/4" in diameter. 1/4" rod is threaded and screwed into electrode head, thus a durable quality design.

Igniter Point Sets

Otto's igniter points have silvered faces giving them 10 times the life of steel or alloy points. The points need only be wire brushed to clean. Point shank is 1/8" diameter.

Exhaust Rocker Arm Adjuster

Our rocker arm adjusters are made to thread through the rocker arm of many gas engines. By turning the adjuster in or out the timing of the exhaust valve can be adjusted to the exact time valve must open.  Adjuster are made in the following sizes and come with jam nut.
