The Birth of Otumshank

Otumshank is a band that was started back in 2001 formed by two of the current members Jimmy Walker-Drummer and Geoff Cota-Guitarist. The band was originally known as Fork Knasty for a few years when the members consisted of Geoff, Jimmy, and Jamie Kanzler-Vocals. It wasn't until the arrival of Zach Hannah-Bass (currently known as Conan) and Tucker Parker Warwick-2nd Guitarist, that the name of this band would change to Otumshank. Jamie soon left after the name change and Zach replaced his spot as the new singer. The band then needed a bassist so they searched until they came across Talia Roy. After Talia Joined Tucker left meaning a new Guitarist was needed. For a while the band went on with only one guitar until Zach moved. This fueled the band to start searching for new and very needed members. They replaced Zach with Colby Hatt for vocals, and got Kyle Feinson to play 2nd Guitar. After having Kyle in the band for a couple of months, they realized that the sound coming from him was not what they wanted. This meant the kick for Feinson. Now the band is left with Jimmy, Colby, Geoff, and Talia but they are better than ever. Now working on their new EP coming out late February, and the touring with Brass for Blood, Otumshank is a band that you should listen too.

Our Sound

Basically we sound like the BEST METAL BAND EVER. We've got shreding guitar, bowel wrenching bass pedal seizures, ear bleeding throat laserating vocals, and low end bass that will put you into cardiac arrest. Plain and simple, OTUMSHANK WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO STICK KNIVES IN YOUR FACE EVERY TIME YOU LISTEN TO THEM
