Management of Knowledge and Innovation Research Unit

presents a seminar by

Bob Phillips, Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young

Implementing Large Systems.

Bob Phillips is a Vice President of Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, the fifth largest consulting group in the world. He has extensive experience of leading teams to design and implement large scale Information Systems, and has a longstanding interest in the frameworks and methodologies for undertaking such work.

His seminar will offer a review of current practice in (strikethrough: the way) this field (strikethrough: has developed) and issues needing development (strikethrough: where it has now got to), arguing that implementing such systems involves tackling technology, process, knowledge and people issues.

Methods for addressing two of these are now fairly well developed - guess which ones remain(strikethrough: s) recalcitrant?"
