Reaching the Heart of God

In our endeavor to come into the presence of
our Holy Father, we must realize that our gift
of worship is what He desires.  In our prayer
life and in our everyday walk with the Lord,
we should start with giving Him thanks
through worship and praise.

Bow Before Him

Worship Him

Adore Him

Magnify Him

Exalt Him

Praise Him

You have come to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn.  Hebrews 12:22-23

When we gather to worship, astonishing things take place!  The writer of the letter to the Hebrews opens our understanding of the privilege and glory of worship.  We are part of a universal fellowship who all sing the same praises, read the same Bible, and bow before the same Lord.  We also join with thousands upon thousands of angels who sing
 'Worthy is the Lamb'.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good.
Psalms 100:4-5

As a Christian it is so easy to become spiritually nearsighted, focusing on God's wonderful gifts while failing to center our love on God Himself.  Sometimes our prayers must sound like a 'wish-list'.  God tells us to present our needs to Him, and He delights in receiving our gratitude for what He bestows.  But He longs for us to love Him for who He is - not for what He gives.  Isn't God more precious to us than all of His gifts?  Our love and devotion should be centered on the Giver, not the gift.

No Gift Is Greater Than the Giver Himself!

Worship is pleasing to God.  Let the Holy Spirit guide you as you worship the Lord.  Give Him your all and as you worship, you will enter into the Holy presence of God.

More Precious Than Silver

Lord, you are more precious than silver
Lord, you are more costly than gold
Lord, you are more beautiful than diamonds
And nothing I desire compares to you
