Apple Sour Cream Ring
1/2 Cup walnuts, chopped
1 Tsp cinnamon
1 Apple, sliced
1/2 Cup margarine, low fat
2 Cup flour
1 Cup sour cream
2 Eggs
1 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp baking soda
1 Tsp vanilla

- Combine nuts, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
- Peel and core apple, slice thin, and set aside.
- Beat butter and 1 cup sugar. Add flour and remaining ingredients and beat for 3 minutes.
- Spread half of dough in bottom of a greased and floured 9" tube pan.
- Sprinkle with half of the nut mixture. Spread the sliced apples over the nut mixture.
- Spread rest of the dough on top and sprinkle with remaining nut mixture.
- Bake in a 350o oven for 60 to 70 minutes.
- Yield: 10 servings.
