Not Your Granny’s Oatmeal

1/2 Cup melted butter
2 Eggs
1 Cup milk
1 Tsp vanilla
1/2 Cup brown sugar
3 Cups oatmeal, quick
2 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp cinnamon
1/2 Cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • Put all dry ingredients into a bowl.
  • Make a well in the center, and add remaining ingredients. Blend well.
  • Pour into a greased 9" X 13" baking dish.
  • Bake at 350oF for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Serve with milk and fresh or frozen fruit.

  • Yield: 10 servings.
