Baked Lumpia


Add a little sauce to your Filipino egg rolls:
Lumpia Sauce
3/4 Lb ground pork
1 Carrot, minced
1 Onion, chopped
8 Oz waterchestnuts, canned, chopped
8 Garlic cloves, minced
2 Tbsp soy sauce
8 Oz bamboo shoots, chopped
1 Tsp pepper
1 Lb egg roll skins
1 Lg egg, beaten



  • In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients.
  • Place 2 tbsp of mixture on wrapper and roll according to directions.
  • Brush with beaten egg and bake at 400oF for 20 minutes, turning after 10 minutes.

  • Yield: 20 servings.
