La Jolla High School is a public high school that is part of the San Diego Unified School District. It has an enrollment of approximately 1600 students in grade 9-12. Largely dominated by the University of California, San Diego, and adjacent research and development firms, La Jolla High School places strong emphasis on high academic achievement. Over 90% of the graduates continue their education at universities and colleges, with a significant number attending Ivy League colleges, out-of-state, and University of California institutions. |

From north of La Jolla
Take Interstate 5 South and exit on La Jolla Village Drive West. Continue to Torrey Pines Road, and turn left on Girard. Proceed for one block, then turn right on Pearl and continue for one block. Turn left on Fay, and stay on it until La Jolla High School appears to the right. From south of La Jolla Take Interstate 5 North and exit on Ardath Road, which merges into Torrey Pines Road. From Torrey Pines Road, go left on Girard for one block, then turn right on Pearl and proceed for one block. Turn left on Fay, and stay on it until La Jolla High School appears to the right. |
