i think that the statement is very true because if the things of the past does not talk about what the youths want to hear then they think it is boring or if it does not show what they want to see

I think it is not true because the past was hip and not boreing because of all the people I asked although many people was hard working but they were still hip like goin out to clubs and do all that crazy things that they do.

I think this statement is true because youths today love to listen to new music that are part of today's society. They like to hear music that is in style today. If an old music was to be playing from back in the days then you will see that hardly any of todays youths would want to listen to it. This is my personal opinion that I've experienced and witnessed.

Well, It really depends on the interest of the person. If i were to stand in front of class and say something like "music from the 1940's are hot", they would automatically say that its boring, either because it's not in their generation, or just too old without even looking back on it. I'm sure that everyone could find something from the past they would like. Most kids focus on the music artist of today, not knowing that, they also have romodels from the past. I've heard of numerous artist who site "anita baker", "Sam Cooke" and others as their romodels. I believe if we have kids, later on in life we would ask the same question, and they would probly have the same opinion of our past, just as we have the same opinion about the past before us.

I believe this statement is very true. This generation of teens all they think about is what’s style they want to be other people do things other people are doing. Teens in this generation don’t care about music from the past or anything from the past for that matter all they care about is fitting in and being popular. When in reality its not really about any of those things. I like all types of music the old, the new, the different genre’s but other teens just like one type of music and only listen to that type of music. When you listen to a type of music they don’t like they’re all like “Why are you listening to that?” or “What is that you’re listening to?”

If we forget the past are we bound to repeat it, yes? Yes if we forget the things we have done in the past and we forget it we’re just going to get the same consequences, the same thing that happened before its like you didn’t learn your lesson the first time. Teens don’t know about the past, which is harmful to them. Teens today need to give other people and things another try before judging it.

It"s not that "yong people" think that things of th epast ae boring its just that it s not up to date with our time> Back in those days there wasn't cd players and computers. there problly wasn't even any color (j/k...lol)so now that we have those things its hard to not keep up to date with technology. I honestly think this is not true. But in the mind of others it may be. To me is not true because the things of the past are exactly what made the things of today. And some trends and style are coming back from da 80's and 60's. So i think other youths are opened about the past. I think other youths think that the past is not "hip" cause in the day of today we have more impressive,creative, && interesting styles and ideas.So they see the old ones as "wack". This is because they are the buliding blocks the the music created in our time!! Old school songs have meaning, not saying that songs today dont.
